Serving European-Japanese cuisine, Waku Ghin by Tetsuya Wakuda is located within The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, at 2 Bayfront Avenue.
Waku Ghin, widely recognized as one of the very best restaurants in Singapore, offers chef Tetsuya Wakuda’s masterful Euro-Japanese fusion dishes.
Furthermore, the dishes are created in front the diners’ eyes by personal chefs, creating an extraordinary, unmatched fine dining experience.
Waku Ghin serves a set 10-course dégustation menu at two seatings at 5:30pm and 8pm, which is why reservations are essential.
The Bar at Waku Ghin, meanwhile, which opens at 5:30pm and serves customers until late (last orders 1:30am) and has premium sakes and the best Japanese cocktails in Singapore, doesn’t require reservations.
The name “Waku Ghin” is derived from two Japanese words, where “Waku” means “to arise” (like water pouring forth from a hot spring) and “Ghin” translating as “silver”, chef Tetsuya’s signature color, which is used throughout the 8,000 sq ft restaurant, its intimate bar, three private cocoon rooms, and the main dining room.
