Membership-based groceries and household consumables discount retailer Warehouse Club is located at 1 Joo Koon Circle in Singapore.
Opened to customers in December 2014 and operated by NTUC FairPrice, Warehouse Club offers great savings on groceries and household consumables through bulk buys, value packs, and exclusive access to direct-import products & brands.
The more than 80,000 sq. ft. warehouse store uses a same type of business model to similar concepts (that are very popular) in the United States (like Costco and Sam’s Club), Japan, and Australia.
The primary reason for Warehouse Club’s existence is their ability to pass on greater savings to shoppers, including operating in a lower cost suburb area outside the city, passing these savings directly to customers as well.
Warehouse Club’s special quality imports are from, for example, Kirkland Signature (US), Carrefour (France), Tesco (UK), Cheesecake Factor (US), and Frosch (Germany).
In order to shop at the value megastore, you need to become a member.
Application for the 2 year membership, which has a fee associated with it (you can check the current price at www.warehouseclub.com.sg), can be done at the WHC Membership Counter on Level 2 of FairPrice Hub (1 Joo Koon Circle).
The membership card will be issued on-the-spot at the WHC Membership Counter (after you make the membership payment), and you can then use the card to make purchases immediately.
