Photography gallery chain YellowKorner has one location in Singapore, at 313@Somerset (313 Orchard Road).
Founded in 2006 by two photography enthusiasts in Paris, France, YellowKorner is an innovative photography gallery that aims to make art less intimidating and more accessible by providing high quality, limited edition works at affordable prices.
The overall concept is simple, yet brilliant: to introduce the greatest photographers from all over the world and to increase the available number of copies of their work, making them accessible to as many collectors globally as possible.
Therefore, instead of offering just 10 prints, YellowKorner chooses to publish 500 at affordable prices.
YellowKorner provides space for expression for talent from different photographic trends, while also maintaining high artistic standards.
That is why you’ll find upcoming contemporary artists alongside already established names in photography, such as Yann Arthus-Bertrand, Dorothea Lange, Man Ray, Jean Dieuzaide, and Bert Stern. All together, the entire YellowKorner collection of photographs is in the hundreds of works.
With the artist’s consent, the same photograph is made available in one or several formats (8″x12″, 10″x15″, 24″x36″ and 40″x60″), and each format has its own corresponding limit (open edition, limited editions with 30, 200 or 500 copies).
Over the years, this gallery concept has proven to be very successful, and there are no over 70 YellowKorner locations worldwide.
