Afuri 阿夫利 – Ramen Restaurant in Singapore

Afuri 阿夫利 ramen restaurant in Singapore has two locations available, one within Funan shopping mall (107 North Bridge Road) and another at VivoCity (1 HarbourFront Walk).

Established in 2001, the outlets, named after a Japanese mountain (also known as Mount Ōyama) on the east edge of the Tanzawa mountains in Kanagawa prefecture, are premium ramen houses.

The restaurants’ ramen has been prepared little differently from ramen you’ve become accustomed to elsewhere – it’s lighter, refreshing, even a little delicate.

All the ingredients the ramen have been carefully selected, and there’s one ingredient in particular that makes the restaurant’s ramen special: yuzu – a small yellow citrus fruit native to Asia, which is added to the fresh chicken broth and garnished on top, too.

The full range of signature dishes on the menu are Yuzu Shio Ramen (chicken & dashi based broth, yuzu, half nitamago, chashu, mizuna, menma, nori), Yuzu Shoyu Ramen (chicken & dashi based shoyu broth, yuzu, half nitamago, chashu, mizuna, menma, nori)…
