Alchemist Beer Lab craft beer & cocktail bar in Singapore is located within South Beach Avenue (26 Beach Road).
A concept created by microbrewery Little Island Brewing Co., the infusion bar offers an extensive selection of pre-batched beers and cocktails.
As a beer infusion bar, the place houses state-of-the-art infusion towers, a modern system that allows brewer to introduce any type of ingredient into their drinks with optimal flavour extraction and fresh results.
Two kinds of visually stunning and technically advanced infusion tower systems – one type from Poland and the other from United States of America – are used to offer a wide variety of infused beers: one holding up to one-litre of beverage, and the other with a capacity of three-litres.
With this system, drawing inspiration from its namesake, Alchemist Beer Lab turns ordinary drinks into the extraordinary using natural flavors of fruits, flowers and other favourite snacks into various liquors (including beer, of course), served from up to 20 taps.
Visiting the bar, you get to enjoy unique taste experiences from experimental beer cocktails, bespoke cocktails, and other exotic drinks.
Craft beers on the taps include That Old Black Magic, a dry Irish nitro stout, winner of 4 Gold Medals at the 2016 Asia Beer Awards, as well as an interesting mix of ales, lagers, and other beer types freshly brewed in Changi Village by Little Island Brewing Co.
Besides Little Island Brewing Co. beers and infused cocktails, the bar also carries a curated range of beers from Rocky Ridge Brewing Co (Australia) and Koala Beer (Australia), wines, sake / shochu, whiskies, and gins among other things.
Kitchen menu (snacks 2pm-6pm & dinner items 6pm-10:30pm) to complement the extensive drinks range features modern European mains & tapas selection, with highlights such as Cheese Nachos (corn chips, grilled cheese, guacamole, jalapenos, salsa, cheese nachos, vaca frita) and Confit Duck Roll (pan fried shredded duck, crispy wanton skin, spring onions, orange star anise sauce).
In terms of ambience, the interiors, designed by architectural firm Kita+Jaramillo, are decorated in a muted colour palette of grey, gold and black marble, with accented wood elements to mirror an experience of the medieval times.
