Founded in 1933, the gourmet stores are best known for their selection of bakkwa, Asia’s famous barbecued meat.
A local favourite for more than 80 years, the bakkwa is made daily from scratch with the highest quality meat, hand-weaved using a traditional bamboo sieve.

First, the bakkwa is smothered slowly for hours over live coals in their proprietary recipe. This process seals in the sweet and savoury marinate, infusing delectable moisture into every piece of meat.
Then, the meat is barbecued over a glowing fire, until it spatters and caramelises the tender meat, resulting in the authentic taste and texture.
