Boon Tong Kee Happynest has a network of eight Cantonese restaurants in Singapore, including one outlet within Century Square (2 Tampines Central 5).
Founded by Mr Thian Boon Hua in 1979, the restaurant, operating under the current name from 1983, serves a delicious range of Cantonese and (since 1999) “Zi Char” dishes.
Most famously, the outlets offer Cantonese-style silky white sauce Chicken Rice, a customer favourite ever since the chain’s first stall opened to customers in Chinatown.
