Boruto, a good Japanese Italian restaurant & sake bar in Singapore, is centrally located at 80 South Bridge Road.
The outlet, where the name translates as ‘vault‘ from Japanese (a homage to the premise’s past life as a bank), is a dining concept that combines modern Japanese & Italian cuisines with a Japanese sake bar.
Upon stepping into the the double-storey establishment, the ambience includes a feature wall on the left, with massive sake barrels imported from Japan being displayed from floor to ceiling, representing some of the brands carried at the bar.
The décor is that of industrial modern izakaya chic, where the inviting and stylish interiors feature dim lighting, dark wood tables, black leather chairs, as well as steel stools atop a concrete floor that has been accented with brass inlay strips.
Main categories on the fusion restaurant menu are Salads, Bites, Cold Dish, Mains, Thin Crust, Pasta, Donburi, Desserts, and Specialty / Piatto Forte.
