Butcher’s Block, a good steak restaurant in Singapore, is located within Raffles Hotel – Raffles Arcade, at 328 North Bridge Road.
Visiting the steakhouse, you can experience some of the world’s finest cuts of meat that have been meticulously sourced from dedicated farms that show utmost care and respect for their livestock.
In preparation, these premium meats are cooked using the time-honoured craft of wood fire with a variety of techniques, such as smoking, grilling, and slow cooking in embers, in order to impart distinct flavours & aromas.
Highlights in the meat cuts menu include, for example, Angus Grass-Fed 28D Dry-Aged Irish John Stone Sirloin Bone-In (450 g), Rangers Valley Angus Black Market MBS 4+ Australia Sirloin Bone-In (450 g), and USDA Prime Beef GOP USA Tenderloin (180 g).
Additional popular choices in the menu are Scottish Salmon (appetiser – raspberry, creme fraiche, blinis) and Roasted Pineapple (dessert – coconut sugar, pineapple sorbet).
Heightening the restaurant’s opulent ambiance is a glass cooler named ‘The Vault‘ that displays fine cuts of meats, next to the ‘Open Kitchen‘, where you can see the chefs preparing and cooking meats to perfection.
Adding to the visual appeal is ‘The Library‘, an exposed wine cellar that houses over 200 different wine labels, including a good selection of natural wines. If you prefer some privacy, the restaurant has two private dining rooms available.
