Corner House – 1 Michelin Star Restaurant in Singapore

Corner House, an elegant 1 Michelin Star restaurant in Singapore, is located within Singapore Botanic Gardens’ E J H Corner House, at 1 Cluny Road.

The casual fine dining restaurant, open to customers since 2014 within a beautiful 1910 colonial house and awarded One Michelin Star (2016-2019), serves exquisite Gastro-Botanica cuisine – a culinary devotion to nature, ecology, and sustainability – using French cooking techniques, French-Asian flavours, and a focus on botanicals.

As part of the Singapore Botanic Gardens, Singapore’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site, the restaurant elevates botany in everything from visual motifs such as the logo, graphics, tableware and pictures on the wall to the incorporation of ‘botanical’ monkeys.

The outlet, a celebration of a unique and colourful human being (botanist Eldred John Henry Corner, Assistant Director of the Botanic Gardens from 1929 to 1945), evokes the romance of a special historical location and the thrill of superb gastronomy.

Thus, time (well) spent at the restaurant becomes part of your own web of life experiences, as strands of history, science, memory, art, passion, and gastronomy come seamlessly together to create an unforgettable memory in a singular setting.
