Entre-Nous Creperie, a great place to enjoy authentic French crepes in Singapore, is located within Bras Basah neighbourhood, at 27 Seah Street.
Founded by husband-wife team Stephane and Geraldine Meunier in 2008, the restaurant specialises in authentic savoury & sweet crepes made from heritage recipes originating out of Brittany, France.
The outlet’s signature crepes are the original, most traditional iteration of French crepes, made with a recipe – as invented by Bretons in the 1100s – with only three ingredients: buckwheat flour, salt, and water. You can also order wheat flour crepes.
To achieve the thin, crisp nature of a Breton crepe, the restaurant imports all the main incredients, including salted baratte butter, from Brittany, and utilises a special ‘Biligs‘ pan (also from Brittany) to cook the crepes at a very high temperature, 270 degrees.
You can choose from an extensive choice of homemade fillings, although the traditional way to eat a Breton crepe is to top it with an egg, ham & cheese (for dessert, butter and sugar), and pair it with artisanal cider, beer, or apple juice.
Brehat (egg, ham, Emmental cheese, and fresh button mushrooms with cream sauce).
For their customers, Entre-Nous Creperie offers four different types of artisanal apple cider produced by a small, Breton cider manufacturer called Kerné, served in traditional ‘bolee‘ mugs, the way Bretons do it.
Other menu choices include homemade French soups, starters, ice-cream, quiche and desserts.
In terms of ambience, the French restaurant has a delightful nautical theme and space for up to 30 guests (for private events) inside & 13 in the alfresco area.
