Fat Cow, an upscale Japanese restaurant in Singapore, is located within Camden Medical Centre, at 1 Orchard Boulevard.
A concept created by Commonwealth Concepts in October 2011, the restaurant, with a name that is a play on the Mandarin word “fatt”, meaning prosperity, offers a handpicked selection of the finest Wagyu beef from farms around the world.
With the outlet’s customized beef experiences, you’ll get to enjoy a choice of beef over a variety of Japanese preparation methods – Shabu-Shabu, Sukiyaki, Hobayaki, or the popular Sumibiyaki (charcoal-grill).
Wagyu Sandwich.
Examples from the a la carte menu range include the likes of signature Wagyu Sandwich (toasted brioche, toriyama A4 tenderloin), A5 Ribeye 100g Shabu-Shabu (hotpot of mushroom broth, traditional sauces and garnishes), Kobe Beef 150g, as well as 21 Days Dry-aged Nagasaki A5 Wagyu (sliced wagyu steak on rice, uni, caviar, foie gras, onsen egg, truffle oil).
21 days Dry-aged A5 Nagasaki Wagyu Premium Donburi, topped with caviar, foie gras and onsen egg.
In terms of ambience, spanning an area over 3,500 sq ft, the restaurant has a design that takes a contemporary approach to the Japanese “Wabi-Sabi” concept – the art of finding beauty in things modest, simple and humble.
The space also features the Fat Cow Bar, a cozy area designed to be perfect for pre-dinner cocktails and post-dinner digestives, offering a list of Japanese-inspired cocktails, whisky, sake, and shochu infusions.
