Gemma steakhouse restaurant in Singapore is located within National Gallery Singapore, level 5 at 1 St Andrew’s Road.
A concept created by the ilLido Group and Chef Beppe de Vito (known for Italian dining places like the 1-Michelin-star Braci), the restaurant offers fine dining with contemporary Italian food and old-world charms.
The upscale social dining destination, artfully blending vibe dining with the superior quality of steakhouses, is representative for new era of Italian glamour and gastronomy in the heart of Singapore.
With seating for 68 guests, the place has been inspired by the best of Mediterranean summertime steakhouses, a destination where people gather to revel in the happiness of the season in high spirits.
Centerpiece of the restaurant’s kitchen is a trademark Josper oven, adjointed by an in-house curing room presenting a modern side of “fish carvery”.
Highlights in the a la carte menu include, for example, Venetian White Asparagus (starter – with yuzu bernese, cipollina, leek ash), Pickled Sardines (from the Curing Room – with alpine butter, housemade raisin, dill)…
…T-Bone Fiorentina Steak (AU) 100g (30 days dry-aged, 200 days grain fed), F1 Wagyu Ribeye (AU) (450 days grain fed), Sardinian Sea Bass, as well as Te Mana Lamb Half Rack (NZ).
The steakhouse also has a bar, where inventive cocktails are served stylishly tableside from cocktail carts – a homage to the old school steakhouse ritual.
Also, the extensive wine list features one of the best collections of Italian and French wine in Singapore, such as Barolo, Brunello, Super Tuscans and Burgundy, plus organic and biodynamic wines.
