Kwan Inn Vegetarian restaurant in Singapore has three stall locations to choose from, including one within Chinatown – People’s Park Centre (101 Upper Cross Street).
Founded in a food stall format by Madam Choo Hong Eng in the 1990s and open to customers as a Micro 2000 managed restaurant since 2015, the outlets serve high quality, innovative, and soulful Chinese-style vegetarian food.
One of the cornerstones of how the stalls operate is to prove their customers that vegetarian cuisine is not bland, boring, or uninspiring.
Each of the recipes used on the menu has deep roots in eco-sustainable traditions, with only the freshest and most natural ingredients used in the food preparation for maximum nutritional value.
At the outlets, the menu features a wide range – more than 100 dishes to choose from – of innovative and extensive vegetarian cuisine.
Customer favourites on the menu include such classics as Veg Suckling Pig, Speciality Veg Goose, Minced Beancurd with Special Sauce, Signature Fried Beancurd, as well as Indonesian Veg Fish/Prawn, plus hand-crafted desserts like Almond Tofu or Yam Paste with Ginko Nuts to complement the meal.
In terms of ambience, the vegetarian restaurants have a laid-back setup that matches the breezy vibe of the eastern part of Singapore.
