Established by Jeremmy Chiam, Le Binchotan is an intimate 38-seater restaurant & bar that serves exquisite French-Japanese cuisine and premium sakes, boutique artisan wines, as well as specialty cocktails.
At Le Binchotan, Eastern and Western influences come together seamlessly in professionally crafted cocktails.
To go with the delicious drinks, Le Binchotan also offers izakaya-style dishes that have been prepared combining Japanese ingredients with French culinary methods and the centuries-old practice of grilling using binchotan – a highly prized Japanese charcoal for deep, smoky flavours.
Signature dishes on the food menu include Uni & Caviar (cauliflower, dashi), Edible “Binchotan” (beef short ribs, garlic – yoghurt, shimichi), Cappellini (sakura ebi, shio kombu, chives), Little Neck Clams (potatoes, enoki, sake), and Smoked Chocolate (yoghurt, blueberries).
