A great restaurant for Taiwanese food in Singapore, Lu Ding Ji, has two locations to choose from, including one within Viva Business Park (750 Chai Chee Road). (UPDATE 2022: THE OUTLETS HAVE CLOSED)
Established in August 2017, the eatery makes Taiwanese dishes with local inspiration, including many heritage dishes from recipes passed down from one generation to the next.
Among the must try menu items are, for example, XL Fried Chicken, XL Fried Pork Cutlet, Braised Pork, Crispy Chawanmushi (an exciting reinvention of a Japanese egg custard dish that is deep fried with a crisp golden brown batter), Rice/Noodle/Mee Sua bowls, Taiwanese Snow Ice, and Jelly Desserts.
Viva Business Park.
The Taiwanese restaurant dishes have been made from Taiwanese recipes, but are slightly modified for Singaporean tastes and prepared using only high quality ingredients, such as free range eggs & premium imported pork.
