Lutong Pinoy, a traditional Filipino restaurant in Singapore, operates a food stall within Lucky Plaza shopping mall (304 Orchard Road).
Located within the shopping mall’s Asian food court, the stall serves a great selection of highlights and classic dishes & desserts from Filipino cuisine, which is why the place is frequented by local Pinoys.
The stall is best known for their Sisig (hotplate stir-fry of minced pork), best eaten with an extra bowl of rice, and Bulalo (delicious Filipino Beef Bone Marrow Soup – featuring beef, cabbage, Chinese cabbage, corn, fish sauce, garlic, onion, potatoes, lemon).
Pork Sisig – A Kapampangan dish made from crispy pork and chicken liver, mayonaise, and seasoned with calamansi, onions and chili peppers.
Other stall specialties include Menudo (stew made with pork and pork liver), Chicharon Bulaklak (popular appetizer in the Philippines), as well as Halo-Halo (Filipino cold dessert that is a concoction of crushed ice, evaporated milk and several ingredients).
