Min Jiang at Dempsey, a popular Chinese restaurant in Singapore, is located within Tanglin district, at 7A & 7B Dempsey Road.
Open to customers since April 2019, the restaurant, housed in a 5,000 square foot black & white one-storey colonial building amidst the luscious greens of Dempsey Hill, offers delicious, contemporary Sichuan and Cantonese dishes.
Specialities on the menu include Legendary Wood-Fired Beijing Duck, exquisitely prepared dim sums, as well as roast meats.
For the Legendary Wood-Fired Beijing Duck, the restaurant uses top quality ducks imported from Silver Hill farm in Ireland, which are renowned for their smooth texture and delicate flavour, resulting in a fragrant and succulent meat when roasted.

The Beijing Duck dish is prepared by chefs from China according to an ancient recipe, with the water ducks skillfully roasted to a perfect golden hue over fragrant apple wood in a wood-fired oven, and served with with homemade crepes.

Other highlights in the menu include, for example, Prawn Dumplings with Chilli Oil, Deep-fried ‘Golden Pear’ Curry Chicken with Mushroom, Sichuan Hot and Sour Soup accompanied with Prawn Spring Roll, Sautéed Prawns with Dried Red Chilli, as well as Chilled Cream of Fresh Mango with Sago Pearls and Pomelo (dessert).
Visiting the place, the Chinese restaurant, with seating for 100 guests, has a spacious main dining area, a timber decked alfresco for outdoor dining, a cosy bar, as well as three private dining rooms.
The design, by celebrated architect and interior designer Ernesto Bedmar, features elements of gold, yellow, and green for a hint of glamour, combined with clean, minimalistic lines, sleek marbled surfaces, chinoiserie interiors, plus contemporary furnishings, creating a balanced blend of oriental charm and modern style.
