Monga Fried Chicken – Taiwanese Fried Chicken Restaurants

Taiwanese fried chicken restaurants chain Monga Fried Chicken has three locations in Singapore, including one within SingPost Centre (10 Eunos Road 8).

The chain (which has been in Singapore since 2019) was founded in Taiwan by Taiwanese celebrity Nono Chen and restaurateur Mingdao Liu, who named the restaurant after Wanhua district of Taipei, known traditionally as “Monga“.

In addition, fried chicken is one of the most celebrated street snacks in Taiwan, with the chain’s menu promoting the original Taiwanese flavours of the delicacy.

Today, the chain has more than 45 outlets in its home country, plus outlets in Canada, USA, UK, Philippines, Singapore, Czechia, and Malaysia.

In terms of food, Monga is best known for their thicker-than-usual chicken fillets that are marinated with honey, dipped in batter (instead of dry flours), and fried to perfection.
