Pablo Blau, a popular salt medi spa in Singapore, operates within Raffles City Shopping Centre (252 North Bridge Road).
The medispa, where the name is inspired by Pablo Neruda (recipient of Nobel Prize for Literature) and nature ((Blau: Blue, which represents the Mother Nature – her Sky & Sea), offers salt therapy & halotherapy treatments.
Established in October 2019, the spa’s salt therapy rooms create a luxurious environment close to a salt mine or cave, offering similar benefits to salt mine health centres used by millions of people around the world.
During the body & skin spa treatments (a menu of 14 different choices), a generator grinds and emits negative ions and atmospheric salt particles, enhancing and expediting the health & beauty benefits with added healing effects.
The luxury salt spa’s salt therapy benefits for the skin include normalising PH levels, promoting skin repair and its defensive properties, as well as boosts skin regeneration & anti-aging properties, as the negative ion salt particles are natural antioxidants to fight free radicals and aging.
Proprietary methodology used by the medispa only requires 45 minutes in our the Signature Salt Rooms to achieve the same results to 3 hours in a natural salt cave.
The benefits of salt therapy were recognised as early as 1843, when Dr. Felix Bochkowsky, a Polish doctor, noticed that men working in salt mines tended to look younger, had clearer skin, and seemed to be cleared of respiratory issues.
