One of the best Australian restaurants in Singapore, Salt Grill & Sky Bar, is located within ION Orchard shopping centre in Singapore, at 2 Orchard Turn.
Opened to customers in 2010 (originally by Australian celebrity chef Luke Mangan), the outlet is located 218 meters above the ground, on the 55th and 56th floors of ION Sky, an adjacent building to the ION Orchard mall.
With impressive city views from the tallest point on Orchard Road, the restaurant & bar offers a menu of contemporary Australian cuisine prepared using ingredients sourced directly from Australia alongside with a wide variety of local ingredients that complement the flavors perfectly.
The restaurant’s fashionable, urban main dining room is located on the 55th floor, where you can enjoy the range of signature dishes for lunch and dinner, as well as the afternoon tea.
Signature creations include Tea Smoked Quail, ‘glass’ Sydney Crab Omelette & Miso Mustard broth, and the playful dessert of Luke’s Liquorice Parfait.
The a la carte menu also showcases a variety of grilled meats, including Australian Wagyucut, and great seafood selections.
Complimenting the range of high quality food on the menu is Salt Grill’s wine list with the best Australian, New Zealand, and New World wines.
On the mezzanine floor, you’ll find the restaurant‘s Sky Bar section, a perfect setting for romance and glamor, where customers can indulge in pre- or post-dinner drinks.
The 56th floor exclusive dining area, meanwhile, serves as a setting for smaller private events, such as corporate meetings, while the main dining room (55th floor) can also be reserved for larger scale events like weddings.
