You can find Shin Kushiya Japanese restaurant in Singapore from within VivoCity shopping centre (1 HarbourFront Walk).
Established in 2006, the restaurant’s signature dish is Kushiyaki Skewers, charcoal-grilled over Japan-imported Bincho charcoal, which is known as the King of White Charcoal.
Bincho Charcoal is exceptional in that it burns at a high temperature of 1,000 – 1,200°C, enabling a crisp exterior of the Kushiyaki, whilst sealing the natural flavours & juices within and imparting a distinct ‘smoky’ flavour to grilled food.
The Kushiyaki Skewers are made using only the freshest quality meats, seafood, and vegetables, where the seafood is imported from the world-famous Japanese Tsukiji fish market in Tokyo and the port city of Hakodate in Japan’s Hokkaido.
In total, you can choose from a selection of 49 different Kushiyaki, with alternatives of chicken, pork, beef, lamb, seafood, vegetables, and rice.
Overall, the menu also features a range of locally favorite Japanese delicacies, such as sashimi, sushi, maki, deep-fried agemono, donburi Japanese rice, menrui Japanese noodles, as well as outstanding Japanese desserts.
The 190-seater VivoCity outlet, which has been open since 2006, provides restaurant diners with a theatrical view of the chefs grilling kushiyaki on-site, gorgeous waterfront and Sentosa island views, and 3 private rooms.
