Taiwanese candy manufacturer Sophisca has two shops in Singapore, one at Marina Square (6 Raffles Boulevard) and another within Changi International Airport (65 Airport Boulevard). (UPDATE 2020: THE STORES HAVE CLOSED)
Founded in 1997 in Taiwan, Sophisca is a specialty candy brand that has over the years become Taiwan’s top confectionery retailer.
Dubbed “A Sweet Place for Sweethearts”, Sophisca stores celebrate the sweet life in all of its facades – hard, soft, chewy, juicy, sexy, lovely – there is a little sweet something for everyone.
Shopping at Sophisca, you can choose from a range that has everything from candiet fruits to soft bonbons, chocolates, and much more, great for a customized candylicious bouquet for your loved one or for a candy-filled buffet family fun.
All Sophisca products are designed and manufactured in the brand’s own factories in Nantou, Taiwan, in facilities that are ISO 2002 and HACCAP certified for the highest quality.
The name “Sophisca” comes from “smile”, “oishi” (translating as “delicious” from Japanese), “personable”, “high quality”, “international presence”, “care” and “artlessness”, which refers to the limitless creativity of the team behind the brand.
