Tamashii, a good Japanese restaurant in Singapore, is located within The Offshore Building, at 12 North Canal Road.
Established by Chefs Patrick Tan and Max See in 2012, the outlet offers an intimate counter dining experience based on Kappo cuisine, where the emphasis is on the proximity between the diners and chefs.
Visiting the place, this means the freshest Japanese ingredients will be showcased for your selection and food is grilled while you watch, then served on the Samoji (rice paddle) – a homage to fishermen from North-eastern Japan centuries ago who served their daily catch with wooden oars.
Highlights in the a la carte menu include, for example, Blue Fin Tuna Char Kama, Ezo Abalone Kami Meshi (with abalone liver, truffles), and Hokkaido King Crab Leg (with uni sauce).
The stylish 40 seater Tamashii, where the name translates as “soul” from Japanese, is also a perfect venue for business meetings, social dinners, and private celebrations.
Wagyu Dry Ramen.
In addition to going to the Japanese restaurant in person, you can also order the food for delivery via delivery partner Oddle.
