The Cathay Gallery is a cinema museum in Singapore, catering especially to those who love movies and filmmaking, and located within The Cathay mall (2 Handy Road).

The movie museum, open free of charge to visitors since 2006, offers a nostalgic journey through the storied history of the Loke family, early pioneers in film production and distribution in Singapore and founders of the Cathay Organisation.

Cathay Organisation is today one of most recognized leisure and entertainment groups in the region, known, among other things, for having the first THX cinema hall and digital cinema in Singapore.

The museum, located on the same building as The Cathay Cineplex, a great multiplex cinema with latest Hollywood blockbusters, features antique cinema chairs, vintage posters, cameras, film projectors, and other movie memorabilia.

One of the definitive highlights of the tourist attraction is a wall papered with vintage film posters, featuring some of the most iconic movies in cinematic history, like The Jungle Book, an animated classic, and The Sound of Music.
