The Grande Whisky Collection, a whisky museum in Singapore with a tour & store available, operates within ION Orchard mall (2 Orchard Turn).
A whisky museum tour & store created and operated by The Whisky Trust, the outlet features a gallery of close to 5,000 rare & fine Scotch and Japanese whiskies, including the Royal Lochnagar 31-year old single cask and Yamazaki 50-year old single malt.
These exquisite varieties have been sourced from some of the oldest and most established distilleries in history, some of which have been closed down.
You can choose your experience from three different types of 1-hour comprehensive tours – Classic Tour, Signature Tour, and Deluxe Tour – that come with tastings & a personalised souvenir (Signature & Deluxe Tour only).
Each guided tour of whisky and history in the beautiful 3,600 square feet museum is led by a Master Whisky Ambassador, and commences in hourly intervals from 11:00am to 6:00pm in small groups of 8 people for a more intimate and personal experience.
The first part of the tour starts in a highly-secured vault (where photography and videography is not allowed), introducing you to the insights, secrets, and history of Scotland’s whiskies.
After the final part of the tour – a session of whisky tasting in the Grande Hall – you are invited to browse the museum’s exclusive gift shop, where you can buy souvenir whisky glasses and bottles.
Overall, the emphasis on the tour is on being educational in nature, as an enjoyable, eye-opening experience that brings together whisky non-experts and aficionados alike.
