The Nomads, a popular Central Asian restaurant in Singapore, operates within Central Area, at 70 Telok Ayer Street.
Visiting the fusion omakase dining concept, you’ll be embarking on an exciting modern culinary journey along the Silk Road gastronomic trail (China, India, Central Asia & Southern Europe) enhanced by unique South-East Asian flavours.
The meals, playfully challenging conventional omakase dining in a celebratory fashion, have been meticulously designed to fire up and delight all five senses, and masterfully prepared on a blazing custom-built grill pit.
Highlights in the A La Carte menu (if you forego the omakase option), for example, include the likes of Smoked Herring (appetiser – horseradish mash & filo tart), Sturgeon Bowl (soy butter emulsion, crunchy grains & dill)…
Hunter’s Plov.
…Hunter’s Plov (carnaroli risotto, dry-aged A4 wagyu, pickled heirloom carrots, tea quail eggs & brandied raisins), as well as Medovik (dessert – honey cake, sour cream ganache, blood orange, rose crystals & yogurt sorbet).
Nomad’s Plov (cooked risotto style in a special broth, topped off with tender meat or seafood).
Created by Five Ten Holdings and Kazakhstan native Olzhas Zhiyenkulov, the restaurant has an intimate atmosphere with bar counter seating for 20 people.
For a more private dining experience, you can also book a private dining area, where one of the options is to dine directly on the table (without plates) like people traditionally have done in Kazakhstan.
