Singapore’s TOKYO GALLERY by Musée Collection is located within Capitol Piazza shopping centre, at 13 Stamford Road. (UPDATE 2020: THE GALLERY HAS CLOSED)
TOKYO GALLERY by MUSÉE COLLECTION is an art gallery that primarily carries artworks by Australian artist Shane Bowden, who is famous for his pop-art creations.
The gallery, in fact, is the only one in Singapore that is accredited to sell and exhibit the artist’s works, which are often compared to, for example, art made by Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons.
Beyond works by Shane Bowden, TOKYO GALLERY also hosts regular events and exhibitions of Japanese and international contemporary artists from various genres, from calligraphy to pop art.
The best place to learn more about Shane Bowden is through the artist’s official website, at www.shanebowden.com, while the works on show in Singapore can also be viewed at the gallery’s website.
