However, the outlet has gained a worldwide reputation for their famous Kaya Toast, which has been drawing crowds since 1939, when the stall first opened its doors, and best paired with Traditional Kopi.
The Kaya Toast (breakfast dish / snack with two slices of toast with butter and kaya, sugar, coconut milk, eggs and more) has a regular version, which is tasty, but some prefer the special order super crispy version, which gets charcoal-grilled three times for a melts-in-the-mouth final product.
