Photography art gallery Visionairs Gallery operates within Capitol Piazza shopping centre in Singapore, at 15 Stamford Road. (UPDATE 2020: THE GALLERY HAS CLOSED)
Visionairs Gallery, which also has a branch in Paris, France, takes inspiration from Andy Warhol’s unique gallery & studio of 1960s New York and showcases international contemporary photography.
The main focus on the exhibitions and on the artists is a return to the essential values of art, supporting those creators who accept the founding principles of artistic creation.
These founding values include an underlying ethical vision with a social conscience, art as a socially responsible tool for communication, originality and difference, as well as a belief in truth and beauty.
Typical artists exhibited at the gallery have moved beyond photography to become creators who no longer wish just to capture an instant but to produce art that reflects upon our times, which is why Visionairs Gallery exhibitions raise questions & debate and push the boundaries of new techniques of artistic production (including 3D and digital imaging).
