Wafuken Outlets in Singapore – Locations & Opening Hours (CLOSED)

You can choose from two Wafuken outlets in Singapore, one at Downtown Gallery mall (6A Shenton Way) and another within Asia Square (12 Marina View). (UPDATE 2023: THE OUTLETS HAVE CLOSED)

The restaurant, where the name is derived from WAFU – Japanese style of western cuisine – and KEN – Kenko, which means wellness in Japanese, serves exquisite meals that are healthy for your body.

Founded by Jake Pang and Edmund Goh, the restaurant achieves this by utilizing the Sous Vide method to reach the perfection in their meat and fish – usually only available at exorbitant gourmet restaurants.

Sous vide (French for “under vacuum”) is a method of cooking food where the ingredients are placed in heat-safe, vacuum-sealed packs and then submerged into a precise temperature-controlled water bath – resulting in steaks that are perfectly cooked from edge to edge and salmons that are cooked to a translucent pink, with a delicate and flaky texture.
