WAKANUI Grill Dining New Zealand steak & lamb restaurant in Singapore is located within Marina One The Heart (5 Straits View).
A concept created by ANZCO Foods Japan in Tokyo, Japan, in 2011, the restaurant is today also one of the leading steak and lamb dining experiences in Singapore as well, fusing the flavours of New Zealand meat and Japanese cuisine.
The signature items on the menu feature Ocean Beef Bone-in Ribeye and WAKANUI Spring Lamb sourced from the Canterbury region in the South Island of New Zealand.
Of these, Ocean Beef is the restaurant’s signature steak, produced from Angus breed cattle raised in the South Island of New Zealand that is grass-fed for 18 months on lush green pastures before being grain-finished on locally produced barley and wheat at the Five Star Beef Feedlot in Wakanui.
WAKANUI Spring Lamb, meanwhile, comes from lambs that are born in the spring in the South Island of New Zealand and raised for up to six months on highly nutritious pastures.
To complement the premium quality meats served at the outlet, all of the steaks and lamb meats are grilled over Japanese Bincho-tan charcoal – a technique of grilling that helps to bring out the original flavours of WAKANUI steak and lamb.
In terms of ambience, the steak & lamb restaurant is situated on Level 4 of the West Tower in Marina One, with a capacity of 86 seats, including three private dining rooms and an alfresco porch where you can enjoy magficent views of relaxing sunsets and the surrounding greenery.
