The concept is a joint venture created by Japan’s (AEON Group owned) top pharmacy and drugstore chain Welcia and Chinese retailer Beijing Hualian Group (BHG) in November 2017.
Strong focus on the selection of products is on Japanese imports and Japanese brands, some of which are exclusive to the chain’s stores.
Much of the emphasis on advertising and product selection at the Japanese drugstore is also on health and beauty conscious females aged 18 to 45 yrs.
