A popular unagi restaurant in Singapore, Yamato Izakaya, operates within Oxley Bizhub, at 65 Ubi Road 1.
Open to customers since 2018, the dining concept consists, in fact, of three different restaurants under one roof.
In addition to unagi specialist Man Man Unagi, you can choose delicious ramen dishes made by Ramen Hitoyoshi, and sushi, teppanyaki & don specialties from Tora-Tora.
A customer favourite choice on the unagi menu is Hitsumabushi, a popular dish from Nagoya, Japan, which is meant to be eaten in four steps for an all rounded experience.
First, you should split the rice into four. Eat the first quarter plain, the second with condiments, the third as an ochazuke with tea broth, and the fourth any way you like.

The restaurant even recommends adding an onsen egg, especially if you like the oozy yolk flavours with rice.
