The restaurant, created by JUMBO Group, serves refined, authentic Teochew cuisine within a two-storey heritage building (one of Singapore’s historic sites by the National Heritage Board) located in the historic Far East Square precinct.
Far East Square precinct was established when the first Chinese immigrants set foot in Singapore in the early 1800s, as a district that laid the foundation for the local Chinese communities, becoming a thriving hub with traditional trades and services.

Beyond the entranceway is a historic courtyard that was once part of the Chinese Free School (founded in 1854), leading to the restaurant’s beautifully refurbished dining area, a main hall adorned with calligraphic and artistic masterpieces.
The dining space has been decorated in muted tones of beige with vibrant flourishes of maroon and lime green, and features Oriental accents for a look that is classic yet sleek.
